I have been going to this restaurant since 1983. Since I no longer live close I go out of my way to go there. It is my favorite philly cheesesteak place. I have never had a single problem although they do get super busy at times because they are so good. Maybe give em another chance.
last night was our first time in this good restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We enjoyed the evening very much with the attentive service, with the finest food and fine drinks and with the decent pay. We will surely return there in a short time.
Love this place. Eat here all the time!
Love this place! Sandwiches are awesome!
Best cheese steak since Philly. My new favorite spot. Spool goood.
I could've eaten 3. One of the smallest phillies I've eaten. Wheres the meat? A bit disappointing because I was so hungry. All good because I found a thai food truck in the jax parking lot right after.
The food was pretty good. But I watched the cashier with no mask wearing gloves wipe her nose two or three times with her forearm and then after we paid she reached her hand into a bag of french fries to weigh them out. I dont like throwing people under the bus but i was so grossed out she was dressed grubby and her hair wasn't even brushed. I probably wont go back because of the lack of hygiene.
The BEST Philly Cheese Steak sandwich in Colorado. There are a number of different sandwiches that can be made. I chose the traditional one and it did not disappoint. Finely chopped steak with fresh veggies and cheese in a fresh hogie roll. You can get an 8" or 12" size depending on your appetite AND they stack it full of meat. Split the sandwich and you both will walk away full and ready to come back again.
This place is great I have been going since it was old philly town.I tried the new Delphia Grand Slam. My brother really liked it, I was on the fence about it. Either way, the gal who took my order definitely deserves to be mentioned. she went out of her way and came by and was inquisitive about our opinion on the sauce. That's awesome. I like when service professionals take into consideration the consumer's opinion. We will definitely continue coming to this great little philly cheesesteak shop. You guys are great :) and obviously will continue success in out community. Keep it up!PS I absolutely love the regular grand slam!!
So good, haven’t had a cheesesteak this good in years!! Love this place!
1st timer went with a traditional pepper cheese steak very tasty and the bread was delisous not greasy at all. Well done I will be back
This is by far the most amazing philly I have ever had. My fiancee and I vacationed to Colorado in December and we ate here two nights out of our five. I am leaving this review because we were just here on the couch and both mentioned how much we wish we could have Old Philly Town... Seriously the best! We will definitely go again next time we can vacation to Colorado.
All the food here is well-cooked and the staff is always friendly, it's a great place! A lot of great sandwich variants here, but the classic thing is the best!
I thought the those philly sandwiches were good, with the fresh chopped mushrooms, but oh man those cheese fries are killer! Best i ever had.
I've lived in Philly for nearly 50 years. The cheesesteak offering here is what I would expect from a not-so-great place back in Philadelphia but this far from home it wasn't horrible. Not sure I would go there again soon. I will need to try some others out first.
Best philly cheesesteak in Colorado. Better than Large Marge better than Taste of Philly better than South Philly. Those are all still better than Steak Escape of course, but old Philly town is the best.
Terrible at service. Waited over 45 min for my sandwich watching more than 5 people walk in and out with their orders, while my one sandwich took 45min to make. The staff was confused and handled the situation ridiculously. Thought it was a bad night; next time waited over an hour and got the wrong order!!! Again the staff is terrible at handling the situation. The actual food is very good though; too bad its not worth dealing with them to eat here!
Very friendly staff & and awesome food! Quick service, got my food almost as soon as I ordered it and cashier at register was very polite.
Decent philly cheese steaks. The meat could be better quality. The chicken is better than the steak. Good sloppy comfort food, though. Just don't go in with high philly cheese steak hopes. I also think $15 for a philly cheese steak combo meal is a bit steep, especially considering the lack of quality in ingredients.
I wasn't expecting authentic but I was expecting more than a scant amount of meat chopped to the texture of ground beef and slapped on a roll.
I have always found the food to be great. However my experience with the service today was terrible. There were only a few people in the place. We order 2 12 inch sandwiches. They too aver 1/2 hour to prepare our sandwiches. When they gave them to us we only got one 12 inch the other was a 6 inch. We brought it to their attention only to be told they only charged use for one 12 inch and one 6 inch but we could pay the difference and they would make the other 12 inch. Really??? You screwed up the order not me!! This is such poor customer service!!
Ordered 2 Philly Cheese steaks, meat was very chewy almost like rubber, no taste. Ordered one w/mushrooms and was able to find literally two small mushrooms in entire sandwich. To top it off, woman on phone was not very nice and when I went inside to pick up, (not sure of it was the same woman) but the older woman who rang me up wasn’t very nice either. Almost acted as if I was bothering her by coming in to purchase food. Won’t be going back!
Very friendly staff & tasty food I would highly recommend
Great Philly! A little pricey, but very good. Makes me want to get one right now! Probably will....
I really love this Philly cheese steak place!! So so good! I always take mine to go since the air can get especially hot in the summer from all their amazing cooking :)
The Good: Haven't been here in a few years due to previous owners, but appears to be under new mgmt? Anyways the philly cheese steak was awesome, the bread is perfectly chewy with an outer crunch. Definitely coming back. The Bad: Seems the price has gone up but then again what hasn't gotten more expensive over time.Overall: Not sure if it's under new mgmt but whoever is running it, they've brought back quality, and the speed of service is still great. Will eat here again soon!
Got meatball sandwich which meatballs overcooked or microed to death. Has been very disappointing with last regime change. Should never stray from main item. Smaller bun means less meat. People are not stupid.
Sandwiches here are what you would call a perfect combination of texture and flavors. My personal favorite is a Korean Bbq. 🥖
The guy who took my order was rude. I asked for a combo and he didnt put it in. Then when I said I want a combo, proceeded to give me attitude about it.If you eat here be prepared to hear the sound of metal chopping steak on the grill the whole time. Took forever to get food too. Lastly the grey walls make the interior look depressing.
Amazing food,,,, just slow to get it. Sometimes 30-40 minutes for a sandwich 😬.. enough to make us only eat here once every other month. Unfortunately because its delicious
Delphi has the best Philly Cheesesteak in all of Denver! The food is the freshest it can be and tastes incredible. They have innovative and delicious new Philly combinations that will blow you away. The people that work in this family-owned restaurant are delightful and extremely kind. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a one of a kind meal
We went there for cheesesteaks about a month ago and they were great. The bread was amazing as well. I’m from the Philadelphia suburbs, and these are the best cheesesteaks we’ve found in CO!
Great selection, quick service. The only star missing is due tocost, a little pricey but great quality.
The closest you get to an authentic Philly Cheesesteak. I take my friends here often! Friendly staff and clean place. Of course is not a big place so don't plan any big groups more then 6. Enjoy!!!
Very quaint atmosphere. Great sandwiches ac
Friendly staff, clean and quaint shop with unbelievably delicious food!
Love this spot. Quick amazing food, great options for a cheesesteak, burgers, hoagies. They have an awesome selection of different style cheese steaks. Clean, quick location, great experience!
DELICIOUS! Small business that packs a big punch. What makes a great sandwich is it’s bread- Olde Philly Towne brings in fresh bread every morning. Their Philly is on point! They don’t serve with the traditional Cheese Whiz... let’s face it Cheese Whiz is gross! Their house cheese sauce is sure to please. A new favorite I I would recommend is The Slam! The sandwich’s come in generous portions, come hungry. On top of all this... their customer service is great.
People were friendly and polite. I don't think the bathroom is ADA compliant since my average size frame barely fit down the hallway. But I don't know those rules. I'd be surprised if a wheelchair fit.Food was just okay. I'd definitely give it a second chance.
The sandwiches here are the best! Cooked fresh just for you, served on the best bread I’ve ever had. Don’t get me started on the staff, they make you feel at home and like you are part of the family! Clean, fast and delicious!
My sandwich was awesome. My wife ordered no onions and got onions. But they fixed it fast.
This place is amazing. I've tried several sandwiches and they all have been great but my favorite is the pepper cheesesteak. Good people that work there as well.
I ordered the Queso sandwich and when I got it they didn't put any queso on it because they put it in a container on the side and I'm pretty sure its over a week old
Tasty philly cheese steak and good menu overall
Great place! Good food! Super friendly!
Been a long time. Lived in PA many years. A small hotel on the outside of Columbia called Smith's was my hometown cheesesteak fix. These with extra meat and extra cheese are really close to being right in southeast PA. Take it from one who knows, these are worth every penny. And seriously for 13 buck the 12" with x-meat and x-cheese is a bargain. A true 2 person meal. Bravo Old Philly Town, you ROCK!
Ive been coming here for 10+ years and it's one of, if not, the only restaurant I've ever been to where they consistently put out the same great product every single visit. By far the best Philly in the Denver metro area, plenty of cheese and the softest bread. I used to live around the corner but now I drive 30 to 45 minutes just to come get their pepper steak, it's delicious!
Delicious sandwiches and super friendly staff members!
Used to be 5 stars, but I think the ownership/management has changed recently. Portions are smaller than they were before and they used to be not very big.Edit: Been back. Prices have gone up, as promised. However the quality not so much ... I ordered a 'kid's turkey and cheese' sandwich. My son bites into a slab of turkey skin. That's the only turkey in there, the skin cut. Thanks. As for mine: not bad, but you can get a better Philly in a food court.
Only person in this place wearing a face mask was the cook. No gloves were being worn while I watched them cutting the bread up for sandwiches. I would recommend to stay away.
Was in the mood to eat a good cheese steak after watching a good show. Checked out this spot and I was not disappointed. The Delphia Slam with hot peppers was on point. The pickles made it. Ordered ahead and still had to wait a little while, but it was worth it.
